Kora is a ancient 21-24 string ancient African harp dating back possibly to the 12 century or more. Its from a family of bridge harps or harp lutes. The kora played the Mande people Of Gambia, Senegal, Guinea-Bissua, Mali, Guinee, and Ivory Coast. It's played by the Mandinka, Malinka, Bambara, and Dioula people.
